LOCATION:14:15 - , Cormons
DESCRIPTION:Martina Auddino: danza

Nicolò Ricci: sassofono

As part of the Visavì Gorizia Dance Festival, in collaboration with ALDES, ArtistiAssociati

The collaboration between Visavì Gorizia Dance Festival and Jazz & Wine of Peace—two of the region’s leading cultural festivals—has given rise to a unique artistic partnership. Together, they have launched an artist residency that, for the first time, brings contemporary dance and jazz into dialogue through a shared process of research, listening, and experimentation. The residency will culminate in a new performance in which movement and sound continually shape one another, unfolding through improvisation, interaction, and mutual responsiveness. The project brings together dancer and performer Martina Auddino, whose practice explores site-specific and multidisciplinary performance, and saxophonist and composer Nicolò Ricci, one of the most distinctive voices of the new European jazz scene. Coming from different artistic backgrounds, they meet at the intersection of movement and music, opening up a shared creative space where choreography and improvisation evolve together.
